Marisa Baker (formerly Trofimov), who is of counsel to Netsquire, is a leading New Jersey family lawyer with extensive experience handling all aspects of divorce, custody, support, and domestic violence and abuse. She also handles all facets of estate work, from planning and probate to complex estate litigation.
Ms. Baker was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyer’s Magazine in both 2011 and 2012 in the field of family law, an honor accorded only 2.5 percent of attorneys under the age of 40. She was also named one of the “Top 10 Under 40” Family Law Attorneys in Northern New Jersey by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys in both 2015 and 2016.
She ran for the New Jersey State Assembly in 2019 from her local district. She is a former New Jersey State Bar Association trustee, and has served on the association’s Amicus and Professional Responsibility and Unlawful Practice committees. She previously chaired the association’s Young Lawyer’s Division and served as a trustee of its Women in the Profession Section and is currently a member of its Family Law Section.
Ms. Baker is an active member of the Hunterdon County Bar Association, a former member of the Somerset and Mercer County Bar Associations, and practices in the following counties: Hunterdon, Somerset, Warren, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Union, Passaic, Essex, Hudson and Burlington.
