Colleen M. Dolcy, Esq. grew up in Ocean County, New Jersey and graduated from Toms River High School North. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science from Loyola University in Maryland in 1998 and her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Brooklyn Law School in 2002.
As an attorney, Ms. Dolcy began her legal career as an Assistant Prosecutor for the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office in New Jersey. She then returned to Ocean County where she worked with the Fuggi Law Firm and then Citta, Holzapfel & Zabarsky.
In 2012, Ms. Dolcy opened the Dolcy Law Firm, LLC and focused her practice on Family/Matrimonial Law, Criminal/Municipal Defense, Residential Real Estate, and Estate Planning. In 2023, Ms. Dolcy joined Tonacchio, Spina & Compitello, where she continued to focus her practice on family law.
Ms. Dolcy is happy to bring her knowledge and experience to Netsquire now. She aims to make the divorce process more amicable and still vigorously advocates for her client’s rights. Ms. Dolcy has focused her practice on litigating family law cases involving divorce, custody, parenting time, domestic violence restraining orders (TROs), alimony, child support, out-of-state relocation, child abuse, parental alienation, and paternity. She also continues to provide her clients representation in Criminal/Municipal Defense, Estate Planning, and Residential Real Estate Closings
Ms. Dolcy is a member in Good Standing of both the New Jersey and New York State Bars since 2003. She practices law throughout the State of New Jersey.
Away from her legal practice, Ms. Dolcy is a wife and mom to three kids. She can usually be found with her kids at dance and karate, having family movie and game nights, trying new crock pot recipes, or attending the weekly Dolcy family Sunday brunch of pork rolls, eggs, and bagels.
